The Food World in Fairhope is closing their doors March 16th. Everything in the store is up to 50% off. Well, I am going to go on the record by saying that most of the products in the store are 25% off. There are only a few 40% and 50% signs. Produce is 10% off. Diapers, paper towels, can goods, dry goods and frozen goods are 25% off.
Did you notice the Winn Dixie one page circular? Winn Dixie has a 10 for $10 on Green Giant Steamer Vegetables and Totino’s Pizza Rolls. The Green Giant Steamers only show a photo of the broccoli but the tags in the freezer were for the corn, green beans, peas, and mixed vegetables. No limits and this is good until 3/17/09!!!
Watch the register on the corn and make sure it takes the discount down to $1 a bag. There was an error on one of my bags of corn that the clerk had to fix.
Wal-Mart’s Great Value brand sells for $1 and the Green Giant costs $1.28 in our local stores. I prefer the Green Giant brand, but we buy the Great Value brand to save money. Needless to say our freezer is now full of Green Giant.
The Totino’s 15ct sell at Wal-Mart for $1.98! Also, if you combine the $.35 coupon you will pay on $.65 for each box!
Don’t worry if Winn Dixie is out of these or you don’t have time to make two trips. Get a rain check from Winn Dixie and/or take the circular to Wal-mart and they will match the price on both.
