Walmart coupon policy

in Walmart

I received an email from a reader requesting a copy of the Walmart coupon policy.  Unfortunately, I can’t find that email in my jam packed inbox so I thought that I would post it here in case there is anyone else that would like to print it off and stick it in their binder.

I have had to pull this out in the past and was glad I had it with me.

If you ever catch grief, know that some things they look for are the extra bar code that you find on coupons from coupons.com, etc.  It’s at the top right side.  Also, when you cut them out, make sure you cut just outside of the wording that surrounds the coupon.  This wording gives extra satisfaction that the coupon is not fraudulent.

So many stores have been hit by coupon fraud and when that happens, they are not reimbursed for the coupon and the store has now lost money.  This makes them that much more on edge about which Internet coupons they accept.

I hope this helps.  Go HERE to view and print the Walmart coupon policy.

I have a question….WalMart matches other stores sale prices. I have been told by more than 1 cashier that if they match another stores sale price that you can not use a coupon for that item. Nothing in their coupon policy states this and some of my friends have had cashiers accept coupons for matched price items with no hesitation. Does anyone know anything about this?

Absolutely they will accept coupons! I have done this with the Electrasol when other stores were sold out and we had those $2.25 coupons to use!

I had an interesting conversation with a associate manager at our Wal-Mart yesterday about price matching between Wal-Mart stores (from state to state).

In the sunny south (Alabama) we can not get the Target or Wal-Mart match ups posted on most of the sites. For example last week out of all the match ups, I was only able to get the Motts Applesauce for $.22 (thanks N&D for that great deal).

Anyway, he asked if I had a flyer from another store that he could work with that to match the prices.

Hey, anyone want to start sending me your flyers? lol
