This morning I went to Meijer to get my Aunt Millie’s Bread for $0.05. I got 4 loaves and wished I had more coupons. (Bonus: I did get a coupon for $3.00 off any general merchandise purchase of $15 or more. )
One reader left a comment (can’t remember if it was here or over on Facebook) that there were $0.50 coupons on COUPONS.COM. I looked at work and did not see them. Tonight though, there were available on my home computer so I printed 2!
In the midst of going through some things, I found another 3 coupons! I took these and a few others and headed out. Here’s how I did:
5 Loaves of Bread ($0.75 ea)
-2 $0.50 Internet Printable Coupon off Aunt Millie’s Qs – both doubled to the full $1
-3 $0.35 Manufacturer Coupon – doubled to $0.70
=$0.35 profit
5 boxes of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (1-5pk) ($3.49 total)
- Promotion of FREE Mac and Cheese
= FREE
1 5lb bag of Sugar ($2.69 ea)
-$2.00 off sugar WYB 10 Kool-Aid – only had 1 left
=$0.69
20 pk of Kool-Aid ($2.00 total)
-$1.00 off 10 pks of Kool-Aid
=$1.00
3 Mars brand candy bars ($1.50 ea)
- FREE coupons from Free Chocolate Fridays!
= FREE
2 cans of Dog Food ($0.59 ea)
- 2 FREE dog food coupons
= FREE
1 Transformers Toy ($12.99)
1 Sympathy Card ($2.59)
-$3.00 off gen merchandise catalina
=$12.58
$13.92
+$0.88 tax
=$14.80
Our final total came in less than our general merchandise (the toy and card) total before the catalina! All of the above grocery items came in netting FREE!

Hey Can you send me the link for the IP for Aunt Millie’s? I can’t seem to find it anywhere!
I updated the link in the post for you! I meant to do that last night. OR, you can check out the coupons.com widget on the sidebar (the red coupon box).
Alexandria Meijer was out of the Northern TP yesterday and was substituting 6pk of MEGA rolls instead of 6pk of double rolls!
I had a great time with that Kool Aid deal. I think that was the best one in the 7 months I’ve been doing all of this! It was so neat to fill up my cart with all of the sugar, mac & cheese, and a couple other good deals, and pretty much walk out having only paid for the Kool Aid!
Kroger was pretty great too. I stocked up big time on can goods and hot dogs. My stockpile was getting kind of low after two months with not so many great deals, now I’m pretty much all stocked up on everything again. Plus, I found a 25 cent off coupon that someone had left for ice cream! I love when that happens for something I need. I got one of the big buckets of vanilla ice cream (since ice cream toppings had been on sale last week) for only $2.75.
