Can you please explain to me the FREE games at Krogers. I’m confused!
Thank you
Sara
I echo Sara’s request.
I have seen this posted elsewhere in various ways.
Some have said that BOGO deals at Kroger actually scan at each item 50% off. Even if that is the case, I still don’t see how you can get two items for free with the MQ…..?
What am I missing?
When you have a BOGO sale and a BOGO coupon – they are all free. I just got several tonight to send to the troops in Iraq.
In our region, the BOGOs at Kroger work differently. They don’t charge you for one item, and give you the second item free. Instead, they split the cost of each item in half.
So, for certain regions, you don’t get free games, you just get them at a reduced price after using the BOGO coupon. Still a good deal, but not free for us.
Not sure why I was unable to get the deal. When I hear of it working for so many others. should I try again is it just the cashier?
This, I think, is definitely a YMMV deal.
I was at one Kroger today and they had none of these card sets. They said to try a MarketPlace Kroger which isn’t anywhere near me….
At some point, some of these deals aren’t worth the effort.
This is one for me. Kudos to those of you who were able to *find* the cards and then also get the deal to work.
I am shocked at the amount of issues with this kind of sale. I have never had a BOGO ring up at different prices with Kroger and have always been able to use a BOGO coupon with the sale. KNOCK ON WOOD! (in fact, I just pulled my receipt to double check)
As for Marketplace -vs- non Marketplace, I can’t help there. I am blessed to have a Marketplace right around the corner from me so I am not sure what other stores don’t stock.
Bummer. I wish everyone could take part in this one.
