Is there anything a person can do if they don’t get these inserts in the paper? I think the guy in my corner store isn’t putting them in the paper.
Brandy, It may be the person delivering them to the store. If it is the store clerk, he would be removing them. Always double check before making the purchase that they are there.
What area are you? Cincinnati? If so, I can give you a number to call. If not, call your local Sunday paper and let them know your problems. If you continue to have problems, continue to call them.
I can tell you though that they may be running out of inserts and home delivery customers will always get first dibs. If you continue to have problems, I’d look at trying another store and see if that helps.
I live in PA and I was told at our local paper that they do the home subscribers first, then the closer boxes and stores, and the further you are from the actual paper office the less chance you have of getting them all. I asked why and she said they only get a certain amount of inserts and they often run out before they have all the papers done. I don’t buy from a box, I go to a convenience store or somewhere I frequent that the cashiers know me and once you explain once you are checking for all the inserts they know you aren’t stealing them each time you go back each week. They call me the coupon lady so they know what I’m doing now.
How accurate is this list? Where do you obtain such information?
I am having the same problem and not getting coupons in my inserts. I have called RedPlum and P&G and are aware there is a problem for my specific zip code. I live in Las Vegas, NV but they indicate my coupons should be in the Michigan Paper, Reno and Elko??? I called both companies last wk on thur. and they are looking into it.
The area newspaper indicates the same as Sherri, the home deliverys receive inserts 1st then any leftovers might go to stores. Good Luck!
