Meijer has updated their written coupon policy.
I did note that there is no mention of their policy on doubling, so I emailed them back to find out if they could update that for us. As soon as I hear back, I will let you know. In the meantime, I am going to copy and paste, but also give you the link. The link is very important as it will be the best place to refer back to in the future as it will hold the most up to date information.
PER MEIJER’S WEBSITE (LINK ABOVE):
When accepting coupons, Meijer uses the following guidelines:
- We accept two kinds of coupons; Meijer issued coupons and manufacturer coupons.
- Only one manufacturer coupon and one Meijer coupon for the same item will be accepted (unless prohibited).
- Mealbox coupons are considered Meijer coupons.
- We accept all valid internet coupons. See store for details.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities.
- If the value of the coupon is more than the price of the item after discounts or coupons are applied, the value of the coupon will be applied up to the price of the item.
- We do not apply the excess value of a coupon to the order total if the value of the coupon is over the price of the item after discounts or coupons are applied.
- Only coupons for products carried in our stores will be accepted.
- All coupons should be given to the cashier while you’re checking out and cannot be applied to a previous purchase.
They have also been kind enough to link us to the list of counterfeit coupons that are currently in circulation – GO HERE.

Thanks for sharing…. these policies are good to keep on hand.
Yesterday I visited Meijer in Florence(always have a problem with this store and coupons) to take advantage of their 10 for $10 sale. I used the coupons linked to this site for betty crocker icing and warm delights. The coupons were for 50 cents off which should of been doubled to $1.00 making those items free. But at the top of the coupon it said do not double or triple so they would not double them. I told them this was not the case at other stores such as Kroger. But they said they will not double a coupon if it says do not double. Something to keep in mind. Kroger will double them!!!
When it comes to doubling…I know their old policy said only first 2 identical would be doubled. Yesterday at Meijer (Colerain), I had 4 of the same coupon and they all doubled! Hmmm????
Yesterday at Meijer (Tylersville Rd) I had 3 identical internet coupons and only 2 of them doubled. The 3rd rang up at face value (75 cents). I also had 2 50 cent off coupons and 2 40 cent off coupons which I used for different varieties of the same product, and only the 50 cent coupons doubled. I didn’t catch it until I got home.
