Today I got into a conversation with my aunt when she asked me to tell her about “this Swagbucks thing“.
GLADLY!
Swagbucks is a way to earn points for searches for various actions:
- Searching the web - download the toolbar so searching is made easy. I search everything. Instead of going to Facebook, I search Facebook. Instead of going to Nickels-n-Dimes, I search Nickels-n-Dimes. This can make for a quicker way to gather points quicker. Friday’s are great days as they are known to gererate more and large point rewards. Search often for best results.
- Special offers - Special offers are ways to get more points fast. Check them out as there may be offers that interest you. Sometimes, you can get a free trial that allows you to get the points without any out of pocket cost to you.
- Shop - you can initate your online shopping and for every $5 you spend, you get 1 Swagbuck.
- Invite your friends - you will earn up to 100 points by inviting your friends when they search and win.
- Trade In - You can trade in cell phones, MP3s, video games and consoles to earn Swagbucks. As for this option, I am not sure that it’s
You will notice the button on their site indicating that the searches are by Google and Ask. The difference? Here you get to earn points for so many great prizes. For me, every Swagbuck I get, it goes towards $5 Amazon Gift Cards as they cost 45 450 points. This helped me to score some really great Christmas gifts for my son with almost nothing out of pocket. I am now also getting ready to get him a new comforter for about $20 after shipping. LOVE THAT!
If you have not checked out Swagbucks, I recommend you do so now. It’s an easy way to earn points and get prizes.

I love swagbucks!! I recently rolled 4 $5 amazon gift certificates from swagbucks and another amazon gift certificate from opinion outpost for survey taking into a diaper order that I sent to my daughter in OK for my grandson. I paid out of pocket $3.69 for 140 pampers! With free shipping, it’s great way for grandma in MI to help out on a limited budget. I even managed to impress my husband with this one!!
