I was recently given the opportunity to try the Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Dough. I have to be honest though….this was NOT a new product for our family! About a year ago we were able to get the Pillsbury Pizza Dough free (or really close to ?) at a Kroger sale and have loved it since.
This is one more reason that trying new things when you can get them free or close to pays off. We have found so many things that we never would have tried otherwise, but did so with such a sale and found ourselved hooked.
Anyway, back to the post! 
We were sent a coupon for the FREE Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Dough, 4 cute little pizza plates and the game Pictureka. The idea? Family fun pizza night and that it was.
The dough is a square / rectangular shape so we found that using a cookie sheet worked best. We get all of our favorite toppings and my little guy gets so much excitement that he gets to help create our dinner. We are not surprised when a smily face appears with pepperoni on top!
We typically place the rack in the middle of the oven and this seems to work for getting the crust done while making the cheese and toppings just right. There have been times though that we lower it for the final few minutes to get the crust just a little bit more heat.
As for the Pictureka game, FUN! We opened this before our pizza night when we had a slumber party. Since the boys are in the 4-5 range, we made up some of our own rules and only played with one stack of cards. The boys and I had so much fun. At one point, my little guy even shared some of his winning cards because his buddy did not have many. As you can imagine, this made me so happy to see his concern and willingness to share! One boy’s mom told me that the farting cow picture was a hit in her house and having only been into the game for less than 60 seconds, found that it was a hit that night as well! BOYS! LOL

Friday nights are family night for us! Assuming that our kids are “good” each week (kind to others and complete there chores (i.e. moving their dishes from the dinner table to the kitchen, etc))…can’t remember the last time we didn’t have a family night. They earn their choice of a movie and popcorn OR ice cream and a game (usually Hi-Ho Cherry-O these days).
