in GIVE AWAYS

Chex Cereal treatMy Blog Spark and and Chex Cereal sent me a gift pack to try the Gluten Free Chex Cereal and some tools to get the “job” done.

Gluten Free Chex cereal was not new to me though.  I originally tried this cereal last August when I was invited to join General Mills for their Eat and Greet event.

If you are like me, you wonder if the taste is altered when new concoctions are brought about, but I can tell you that this cereal is just as good – if not better!

We also learned about different recipes of goodies that you can make with this cereal – some of which are located right on the box!  You can also find recipes for Gluten Free treats at www.Chex.com/GlutenFree or LiveGlutenFreely.com.

Unfortunately, I forgot my selected recipe at home and had to find a new one on my cellular while at the store.  I was not paying attention and the one I selected was not totally Gluten Free, but boy o boy…it was good!

My selected recipe called for Chocolate Gluten Free Cereal, but since I could not find it at our store, I went with the Rice Gluten Free cereal and it was great as well!

My Blog Spark, Chex and myself would love to let you try this out and taste just how great it is.  They are offering up a gift pack for one of you as well!

The Chex gluten-free cereal prize pack includes:

  • VIP coupon for a free box of Chex cereal
  • A (really nice) microwavable / sealable bowl
  • A Chex gluten-free recipe card
  • Measuring spoons and cups

How to enter?  Two possible entries each!  Leave a separate comment for each.

  1. Head to Chex Homemade Party Mix Facebook page and “Like” them!
  2. Go to www.Chex.com/GlutenFree or LiveGlutenFreely.com and let us know what recipe sounds best to you.

This giveaway will close September 7th at 9pm.  A winner will be selected via Random.org and notified here on this blog AND via email.  Due to spam issues, etc, please note that your official notification will be via this blog but an email will be sent.  The winner will have 48 hours to respond or a new winner will be selected and notified.  Winner should allow up to 6 weeks for prize to arrive.

Thank you to My Blog Spark and Chex for the VIP coupon, prize pack, information and for sponsoring this giveaway with the additional prize pack.

There are so many recipes that I want to try on the gluten free site, thanks for the 411! I’ve eaten low-gluten nearly gluten free for years because I have such an intolerance to grains containing gluten. There’s a nasty connection between the gluten and MS. Anyway, I’ve LIVED on the original recipe for breakfast for YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS!!! I add cranberries; sub extra nuts for the pretzels or bagel chips; and sub Crispix cereal instead of the Wheat Chex. At Christmas everyone knows what to expect from me as a gift! ;-) I also add white chocolate chips to the mix to give it a little more seasonal color and flavor.

My all time absolute favorite recipe by chex is the “puppy chow”. This recipe wasn’t always gluten free (and it can be altered using different cereal) but since I have been diagnosed with Celiacs Disease, it’s nice to see my favorite products and recipes becoming more and more gluten free friendly! By the way, I have “liked” them on facebook! What a FAB giveaway for someone who is gluten free…I know first hand how expensive this disease is.
