I heard about a deal at Kroger on GE lightbulbs. The lightbulbs were on sale for 2/$3.00. There was a manufacturers coupon on Target.com for $1.50 off of any GE lightbulb product. At the checkout I was told that I could not use that coupon at Kroger because it had the Target LOGO on it. I questioned the fact that it said “Manufacturers Coupon” and that it said no where on the coupon that it could only be used at Target. I was told that Target had a “deal” with GE. Have you heard anything about something like this? Help!!!!

Joyce, most stores will not accept other store coupons. Even when they are marked as a MANUFACTURER COUPON, if it bears the logo of another store, they will not take it.

Meijer is the exception to this rule. They will take other coupons. In fact, from time to time, if they have a great sale going on, I will use my Kroger coupons (those that come in the mail) to use on items there.

I hope this helps!
