Meet Becky!

Sometimes when reading a blog, I wonder about the person writing. So, I thought that I would take this opportunity to tell you a bit about myself.

October 2007

My name is Becky Grizovic. I am a 30 something year old wife and mother. I am blessed to have a husband that truly is my best friend, my greatest encouragement, my strongest support system and the best father a mother and child could imagine. Together we have the cutest 3 4 5 year old little boy – glowing with personality. I can’t leave out my 2 wonderful brothers and my very supportive parents!

I work full time in accounting and have made this my part time job and hobby. My husband told me in the past that I should get a hobby and do something I enjoy (for me) and now I have found it!!

I can’t leave out my faith in the Lord. Our family has been blessed in so many aspects of our lives and know that with Him all is possible.

How did I get started with using coupons?
In late May 2008, I read on a great discussion board (cincymoms) about how to get a bottle of Wisk laundry detergent and Snuggle softner sheets for $0.49 each. I thought…”yeah, right”. I went to the store and did exactly as I had read and I can’t begin to describe my shock and elation when I left paying exactly that for each item. This was my awakening!

Soon, I was reading, studying and spending countless hours trying to learn the rules of coupons and how to work the deals. At times, I laid awake at night thinking about my next deal or a coupon that I might have for a certain deal. (LOL) I was determined to figure this out.

I then started just doing emails to my family to tell them about the sales and what coupons to match up. Before I knew it, I was getting other requests to include others (some I never met) on the emails too.

It was about this time that I thought I should explore the idea of blogging. I knew nothing and I am still blindly figuring it out as I go.

I am enjoying this ride that I am on and hope that you stick around and be a part of it with me! TOGETHER, we can make this site a very useful tool for everyone.
