Do you know your real age?  Not the age you act…the age that your body functions at?   I first heard of the idea of Real Age from Dr. Oz.  I found it to be quite fascinating.

I just finished taking the Real Age test and was shocked to see that my real age was lower than my actual age.

I’ve been trying to convince my kids to tell everyone I’m only 27, but since I took the real age test, I can now ask them to tell people my “real age” is 28.  That way they won’t be lying and I’m feel younger!   It’s a win-win!

Today is Pay It Forward Day.  Pay It Forward Day is all about people, from all walks of life giving to someone else and making a positive difference. While I firmly believe that we can and should make an effort to make a positive difference every day, today is a great day to put forth a little extra effort.  Looking for ways to pay it forward?

• Drop off a meal for a new mom, a single mom, or a single dad.
• Pay for the person behind you at the drive-thru or at Starbucks.
• Make cookies or brownies and deliver them to your local police or fire department.
• Put together a basket of goodies from your stockpile and drop them off to a family in need.
• Mow your neighbor’s lawn.

Can you tell that I am just not feeling the color of the background we had here?  The “reddish” color that matches the header just made the page seem heavy and I really want to try and get away from that feel.  I don’t know what color to do, but at the present time, I have just decided to try out a few other colors in case something else grabs my interest.
